I have gone to the art exhibition and was amazed with the many art works which the students have made. I think they were very marvelous and fun to look at. It was impressing to see so many art works made by the students.
But when I saw mine, I was very ashamed of how my work was incomparable due to the minimum amount of work. While other students were able to make great texture and great use of colors, I was only able to make a childish immature painting with texture like clay and color chosen randomly. I really hated the fact that it was going to be displayed, but it may also show that I need to improve. Coming to the exhibition was a very good experience for me.
Although I hated my art work, some people maid some nice and positive responses. One parent said, “It may not look to good when you compare with other paintings, but it looks nice when you look at it only.” One of my friends said, “You are able to feel the painting’s feelings just by looking at it.” I should be thankful to these responses and try to make an art work which is worth looking at and complementing on.
As many others were able to make such beautiful art pieces, I should at least try to make a good art work. Coming to the exhibition may have given be the strength to step one more step like the one above. I would like to conclude my response with a picture of myself and my painting, Samurai Sport. As art is a universal skill that can be used anywhere, I think it is important to be able to use it. I would like to improve m skills so I can be more proud of my work.
