Daily Life in Medieval Europe >> Introduction
Introduction Passing its 10th Century, Medieval Europe has been through great changes, also known as the Medieval Renaissance. 500 years after the beginning of the middle ages, some life aspects have changed, some have not. Some might be similar to what we have to this very day. The influence of the church was weakening little by little and people started to have a mind of their own. We might be able to say that the main changes during this period of the past have made a great impact on the society we currently have. Of course, many other changes have come later, the Renaissance being one of the closest. Merchants were one of the main people taking part in business, mainly dealing with wool from England. Doctors were well educated people treated highly among society healing patients. Latin was the main language used in education. Family life has a lot of planning with very little love involved. Mysteries of the past, mysteries of the Middle ages. Let them be explained to you as you turn the pages. |
